Pe 23 aprilie 2020, de Ziua Pământului, am sărbătorit, online, explorând. Cu ajutorul Google Earth și, folosind în continuare Zoom, piticoții au văzut cum arată planeta noastră din spațiu, au discutat despre continente, oceane, România și au învățat cum pot să călătorească, stând acasă, în orice parte sau obiectiv turistic din lume. Așa că eu le-am arătat Turnul Eiffel, ei au mai vrut să vadă și Casa Albă sau Palatul Parlamentului și, inevitabil... școala noastră!
Deși abia trecuse puțin peste o lună de când se închiseseră școlile, lor deja le era tare dor de școală. Așa că am mers până pe străduța școlii noastre. Ne-am uitat la fereastra clasei noastre, iar ei au observat că poza nu este de actualitate, fiindcă nu recunoșteau decorațiunile de pe geam. Am privit școala de sus, am privit-o din curtea școlii, unde s-au bucurat mult să revadă terenul de joacă, dar parcă nu era suficient.
Așa că au vrut să intre pe poarta școlii. Regretabil, nu au putut.
Concluzia, anul trecut, era că Google Earth are nevoie de un update în contextul pandemiei, care să le permită copiilor să intre pe poarta școlii.
Earth Day - Google Earth
On April 23rd, 2020, Earth Day, we celebrated online by exploring. With the help of Google Earth and, still using Zoom, the dwarves saw what our planet looks like from space, discussed continents, oceans, Romania and learned how they can travel, staying at home, to any part or tourist attraction in the world. So I showed them the Eiffel Tower, they also wanted to see the White House or the Palace of Parliament and, inevitably... our school!
Although it had only been a little over a month since the schools had closed, they were already missing school. So we walked to the alley of our school. We looked at our classroom window and they noticed that the picture was out of date because they didn't recognize the decorations on the window. We looked at our school from above, we looked at it from the school yard, where they were very happy to see the playground again, but it didn't seem like it was enough.
So they wanted to enter the school gate. Regrettably, they could not.
The conclusion, last year, was that Google Earth needs an update in the context of the pandemic, which would allow children to enter the school gates :)
